| Today I went into New York (again) with my mom. Next Monday I am going to be attending pre-college art classes at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), and today was the orientation. I was really nervous at first, because I am going to be taking the train by myself and I'll have to learn how to get to FIT, but it turned out to be really simple and I am confident I will not get lost :D I am so excited for Monday. I feel so privileged to be able to go into Manhattan BY MYSELF when most other people my age aren't even allowed, and secondly I GET TO ATTEND CLASSES AT FIT, my dream college. It is seriously my dream to attend FIT and live in New York and become some form of artist (preferably a photographer or graphic designer.) After FIT orientation, I spent the day with my mom and went to this snazzy thrift shop in Chelsea. I bought a belt, which I will post about later :D As we were walking down the street, we found a vintage jewelry store, and I got this really cool, super old key. I need to buy a chain for it so I can wear it as a necklace. Then I went to H&M and got some awesome clothes (I'll post those later too, as well as the key.) I had so much fun with my mom, today was one of the best New York trips I have ever had. |
